Frequently Asked Questions
General Information
Our harvest period is usually from early January (around the 3rd) until mid January. We deliver to all urban locations throughout New Zealand during our harvest period.
Our cherry varieties include Sentennial, Lapins, Sweetheart, Kootenay and Rainier. We will send a mixture of the best, freshly picked cherries from these varieties at the time of your order.
As we are in the business of fresh produce, all orders are subject to availability.
Nature can sometimes be cruel to us growers! If for any reason a product is not available, we will do our best to notify you, and ensure our website is updated to reflect this.
Delivery
We work with our transport partners to ensure your freshly harvested cherries are picked, washed, packed and delivered as soon as possible.
Given the preference to have your cherries delivered as soon as possible our preferred delivery days are from Tuesday to Friday to ensure they do not sit in storage over weekends.
In terms of when it should arrive at your doorstep, they aim to complete delivery by 11AM to urban locations.
We deliver to all urban residential and business locations throughout New Zealand.
Unfortunately, due to the fresh nature of our cherries (and courier restrictions) we do not deliver to PO boxes or rural addresses.
If no one is home on the delivery date or has provided an invalid address, we unfortunately cannot accept responsibility.
Due to the large number of orders, it is your responsibility to check that all details provided are correct.
Having said that, should there be a situation where you have supplied an incorrect address please contact us immediately with the order number and details, and we will do what we can to update to the address supplied.
The price you see for each box of cherries includes harvesting, packing, and packaging.
Given we offer various shipping options we offer (Urban and Local Delivery) this is calculated at checkout and added on at the last stage before confirming payment details.
Once you have completed your order, and payment has been processed a confirmation email will be sent to the supplied email address.
Should you not recieve an order confirmation within 3 hours of placement, please contact us at michiel@nz0.com with details of your order, including time submitted.
It is important to ensure you have the correct email address submitted so that any corresponding information, including delivery information, can be provided to your email address.
As the majority of these products are presales, the orders will not be physically fulfilled until close to harvest time.
Once the order has been processed and dispatched, you will receive Track and Trace information to your email.
In most cases, delivery will be overnight during a business day.
During harvest (and when our cherries are available) to ensure our product is kept as fresh as possible we do not dispatch on weekends. So if an order is placed between Friday - Sunday, the earliest we can arrange delivery will be the following Tuesday morning, or a maximum of 2 business days from your order placement.
